Encryption

Our encryption tag is based on the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), the new Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS 197) for "strong" encryption. AES is considered superior to all known encryption algorithms including DES, TripleDES, Blowfish, Idea, MARS, RC6, Serpent, Twofish, and Skipjack.
